At the beginning of last week, Marshal Garden hotel, 5-star classified opened in Dorobanti area, Bucharest. The necessary investment was over EUR 5 mil.

The unit provides 63 rooms and a conference hall with a capacity up to 450 persons. On the top floor, there is a restaurant with international cuisine and terrace on the roof, flowers and plants being abundant here which led to the location’s name, Marshal Garden.

Ana Maria Moanta, marketing manager of the company stated that by the end of the year all Saturdays are booked for weddings, expecting 4,000 participants to these private events. The weddings will generate EUR 200,000 in revenues for the hotel.

The hotel is owned by Ion Antonescu, which also owns Marshal travel agency. The hotel is a green field investment and was built within 2 years from own funds and loans.

Marshal Turism also owns a 3-star hotel in Batistei area in Bucharest.
