TTR – The biggest event in Romania dedicated to the tourism industry
Of major importance for the tourism sector in Romania’s Tourism Fair held at ROMEXPO meets annually in two editions, elite companies in the field both in the country and around the world.
Fall 2012 edition will take place from November 15 to 18 in Halls C1, C2, C3, C4 and C5 – ROMEXPO and will focus mainly on promotion of tourism in ski country and abroad, and exotic destinations that are in season.
EXPO 2012 in facts and figures
Accommodating a total of 230 companies from 28 countries and 50 cities and tourist areas in Romania, the fair registered a new record, this time in terms of visitors: over 25,000 people interested in vacations and trips visited booths located on an area of 15,000 square meters, amounting to six pavilions area Romexpo Center.
The XXVII – Trade Fair marked another success in diaries organizers and partners who have proven this time a great commitment and enthusiasm: Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Romania, ANAT – National Association of Travel Agencies Romania, FPTR – Romanian Tourism Employers’ Federation, ANTREC – Association of Rural Ecological and Cultural OPTBR – Organization of Spa Tourism in Romania.
During the four days of exhibition, visitors can choose from a wide range of offers for the summer season, both in Romania and abroad, that targeted cultural tourism, rural business and tourism, treatment, exotic destinations, cruises, adventure tourism and cultural pilgrimages etc.
For added impact, participating companies were presented as concepts „early booking” and „instant booking” attractive offers and discounts, available only during the event.
Organizers have developed, and this year, especially for interest, a rich program of accompanying events – conferences, seminars, artistic, book, documentary presentations, photography exhibitions and „Visitor Award”, to which participants could win a Mediterranean cruise, all inclusive stays at home and abroad, gifts consisting of magazines or travel items.
On business-to-business segment, the fair was, for most exhibitors an important platform for renewal of existing relationships, loyalty traditional partners, and establishing new contacts and contracts. In this respect, Romania’s Tourism Fair aims to help strengthen the tourism industry in Romania, both by promoting tourist attraction areas and services in our country and the organization of seminars designed to bring the attention of the difficulties in this area .

De o importanta majora pentru sectorul turismului din Romania, Targul de Turism organizat la ROMEXPO, reuneste anual, in doua editii, elita firmelor de profil atat din tara, cat si din intreaga lume.
Editia de toamna 2012 va avea loc in perioada 15- 18 noiembrie in Pavilioanele C1, C2, C3, C4 si C5 – ROMEXPO si se va axa, in principal, pe promovarea ofertelor turistice de ski din tara si strainatate, cat si a destinatiilor exotice, aflate in plin sezon.
Editia de primavara 2012 in fapte si cifre
Gazduind un numar de 230 de companii, din 28 de tari si peste 50 orase si zone turistice din Romania, targul a inregistrat un nou record, de data aceasta, in materie de vizitatori: peste 25.000 de persoane interesate de vacante si calatorii au vizitat standurile amplasate pe o suprafata de 15.000 metri patrati, insumand arealul a 6 pavilioane din Centrul Expozitional Romexpo.
Cea de-a XXVII – a editie a targului a marcat un nou succes in agendele organizatorilor si partenerilor care au dovedit si de aceasta data o deosebita implicare si entuziasm: Camerele de Comert si Industrie din Romania, ANAT – Asociatia Nationala a Agentiilor de Turism din Romania, FPTR – Federatia Patronatelor din Turismul Romanesc, ANTREC – Asociatia Nationala de Turism Rural Ecologic si Cultural si OPTBR – Organizatia Patronala a Turismului Balnear din Romania.
Pe perioada celor patru zile de expozitie, vizitatorii au putut alege dintr-o gama variata de oferte destinate sezonului estival, atat in Romania, cat si in strainatate, ce au vizat turismul cultural, rural si de business, turismul de tratament, destinatii exotice, croaziere, turismul de aventura sau pelerinaje culturale etc.
Pentru un plus de impact, companiile participante au prezentat sub conceptele “early booking” si “instant booking” oferte si discount-uri atractive, valabile doar pe perioada desfasurarii evenimentului.
Organizatorii au derulat, si in acest an, special pentru publicul interesat, un bogat program de evenimente conexe – conferinte, seminarii, programe artistice, lansari de carte, prezentari de documentare, expozitii de fotografie precum si “Premiul Vizitatorului”, la care participantii au putut castiga o croaziera pe Marea Mediterana, sejururi all-inclusive in tara si strainatate, cadouri constand in reviste de specialitate sau articole de calatorie.
Referitor la segmentul business-to-business, targul a reprezentat, pentru majoritatea expozantilor o importanta platforma de reinnoire a relatiilor existente, de fidelizare a partenerilor traditionali, dar si de stabilire de noi contacte si contracte. In acest sens, Targul de Turism al Romaniei isi propune sa contribuie la consolidarea industriei turismului din Romania, atat prin promovarea zonelor de atractie turistica si a serviciilor din tara noastra, cat si prin organizarea de seminarii menite sa aduca in atentia autoritatilor dificultatile din acest domeniu.
