The Crețulescu Church, also known as the Kretzulescu Church, is an Orthodox place of worship in Bucharest.
The Crețulescu Church, considered one of the most valuable architectural monuments of the city from the end of the Brâncovene period, was built in the years 1720-1722 by the care of the great logofat Iordache Crețulescu and his wife Safta, one of the daughters of the ruler Constantin Brâncoveanu.
The great Logofat also built an inn in the vicinity of the church, not only because that was the custom at that time, but also because at that time, the northern barrier of the city was located here, on the "big street" or the "Mogoșoaiei Bridge ", in the place then called "Puțul cu jale".
